It's starting to snow here in south coast RI, where they're forecasting around 2" and then turning to rain around 2 am and thru-out the day tomorrow.
Temps tomorrow (Sun) are supposed to get near 50 and then back down to 32 and below next week with a possible Nor'Easter storm towards the end of next week.
Fun Times!!

Big One... yes. We've had a couple smaller Nor'Easter "wind/rain events", but they (NWS and TWC) say this upcoming one would likely be a bigger Nor'Easter "snow event" if it happens.Would that be the first one?
If so I'm kind of surprised there hasn't been one yet.

We shall see... It's New England weather, after all!![]()
I generally view bigger nor'easters as a wind/tidal surge event. They're basically a cold core tropical storm/hurricane.
I believe this one was built around 1900. Had to rebuild part of it after a fire destroyed much of the interior in 1925. Definitely an oldie. LOTS of old homes here still standing from the mid 1600s.That's a cool city hall.

Storm will pass south of me. Cold air has made the big push. 96 hours before we see 20 again.I might try to work a half-day tomorrow before thos shit is supposed to start….Wednesday is a hard pass at this point.
We’ll get freezing rain/sleet/ice before 4-8 inches of snow.

So I’m sitting here at Urban Air Park. They have the “weather” channel on. When did they start naming winter storms?
I haven’t watched it in years.
The NWS has a website now. Plus the old go to meteorologist from Omaha has Facebook page where he nails it more often than not.
High of -5 today. High of 62 on exactly one week.
