Crazy, bitch ass weather

We’re experiencing solid 40 mph wind rn gusting over 50 occasionally. Already lost power here at work…hope to get to go home soon!

Fuckin tornados all over the place. Gonna be a long day.

We’re on fire.

That Low blew right over me today. I had very powerful winds out of the south (all day). Fight the storm door type steady winds. I could hear a smaller branch land on the roof now and then. I'm on the back side of the Low now and the winds have switched to the north. I have a solid grove and I can hear them howling.

If that Low is "intensifying" like they say, then look out tomorrow. Especially where those Jet Stream winds are cutting into that front. Two altitudes of air cutting into one another. That's gonna spin things up bigly.

So far, nice and calm here.

Daytime heating is gonna get the most violent storms fired up. It's the fuel that will get the storm tops into the higher altitudes where the jet-stream can cut into them and get tornadoes spinning.

This is the current radar.

That's a vicious line of storms.

From 79° Monday down to 22° (a 101° drop), a Winter Storm Watch, and potential Blizzard conditions early Wednesday morning to go along with it.
That's the Central Plains in March. The Upper Plains are a month behind us yet.

:yo:

Back into the 50's on Thursday, then a mix of 50's/60's going forward. I shouldn't have to plow the lane since any snow will melt off quickly. My lane points N/S so drifting isn't much of a problem on it.

I'll clean off the porch for the dog.
