Curious how the CFP would handle this

If you didn't travel to your opponents home stadium...you didn't play a road game...you played a neutral site game.

Ftr, so did your opponent.

tOSU having been to the Rose Bowl more than Oregon just means that Oregon shouldn't have sucked for so many years. Also, it's irrelevant since the current players haven't been there.
He's doing serious calisthenics to do anything other than simply congratulating buckeye fans and admitting his team wasn't up to the challenge. He can't do that because he's spent the last several months shitting all over them and the entire conference and now has to eat every single one of those words as he watches TWO other B1G teams going on without them.

He just can't handle it.

OD would literally drop dead if he were to offer congratulations and exhibit good sportsmanship towards winning team's fans after a duck loss, his very soul couldn't handle the humility. he's like a real-life adult version of eric cartman.

Half a natty on a platter sounds a lot like something on the menu in Oregon

Scenario Village is somehow even more beautiful this time of year

Only thing that could have made this thread deliver any more would have been if Ole Miss had beat Oregon.

:kiffin:

4down20...that's the one.
I tend to ignore posters (not the feature, just scroll past their posts) that have a habit of getting into multiple page (legitimate) arguments so I only paid attention to him periodically

Kinda wish I paid attention to those arguments now....because that is hilarious, LOL.

I'm sure there are some idiots out there like OD who blame seeding.

Most of us are not blaming the seeding, but rather the coaching.
Sometimes I'm glad there aren't more A&M fans here, just as I'm glad that my wife is an only child.

That would be like claiming the 07 Patriots are Super Bowl champs.

The College Football Playoff expanded this year to 12 teams. Did the equate, or did the college football world, take into account for if you have a situation where a team only has one loss, that coming in the playoffs but a 2 loss team wins the national championship or if the two teams in the national championship game lost to that undefeated team?

For example, Oregon entered the playoffs as the #1 team and undefeated. The Ducks beat Ohio State and Penn State, two playoff teams and two teams in the playoffs. The Ducks won the B1G which both Ohio State and Penn State are apart of. Oregon only suffered one loss, which came in the playoffs. They only got one game in the playoffs to play while the other two got an extra game.

What if Ohio State and Penn State played in the national championship game? Where does that put Oregon? A possible debate for a share of the national championship? I mean the Ducks beat both of them and potentially will have less losses than the winner. Penn State is 0-1 vs the Ducks and Ohio State would be 1-1. Seems this is a plausible scenario the CFB world forgot to iron out when they put together the bracket. Major flaw in their playoff ranking and bracket. Another reason the system needs a complete overhaul and revamp for next year and year's moving forward. We can't have this mistake happening again and we can't punish the #1 team in the country for going undefeated and winning their conference championship. No other sport have I seen such an asinine playoff ranking setup.
Seriously your actually questioning the whole purpose of a "playoff". Ok.. let me break this down for you. Your team does well in the regular season without a loss, and makes the playoff. Other teams do well, even with a loss or two and make the play offs. You then must play AND BEAT each team you are paired with, until you are the only team left. If you LOSE, you go home and learn that in order to be the champion you have to win ALL the games. So stfu and sit down Skippy. Oregon isn't the best team.
