By the wording of the question, I say Koufax. He struck out over 300 in his last season, therefore he never reached 200 after he reached 300.

Well if Illustrious knows the answer,its a pitcher from his era and probably a Brave pitcher.......because one of them turned into a reliever,and I forgot which one.
