Dan Mullen Has To Be Fired Right?

Holy shit! :wtf: I've never been on that site. I'll stop by that site, open an account and ask the poster who he is. I can't quite tell whether it was posted to make fun of it or because he thought it was a good idea! At least I typed how it was unrealistic at the end.

That was just a passing thought I had while talking to an old woman client in Buffalo - who was boring the fuck outta' my brains.
You should introduce yourself and offer to write articles for him.

For who? And, sheeeeit. If I was going to spend time writing something half-assed intelligent, I'd write another book or start an investment newsletter. But whatever it would pay wouldn't be worth the freakin' time.

hmm, interesting that those people lurk on this site

most of their other tweets are snapshots of team message boards on 247sports

Whoever runs the account must have been a member at SH because I don't think this place shows up if you google "sports message board". Either that or someone on the team 247 sites they mostly stick to linked to here.

Or that Twitter account is yet another one of Hammer's many alts

Regarding the original question in this thread, I think he gets one more year and probably deserves one more year. If you look at his first three seasons, they were all very successful. This is his first truly bad season.

Not sure where you think Cristobal is going. He is completely owning the PAC-12 and has an easy road to the CFP every year.

Cristobal has just taken over the PAC-12. He's going on his 3rd straight year of being a conference champion. We recruit like an SEC school, we have a defense like an SEC school, we have a powerful offense that can run the same run play over and over and can't be stopped. Oregon and Cristobal have created a powerhouse out West and this conference is our stepping stone every year to the CFP

His buyout is very high. He is staying at Oregon. The Ducks have one of the best recruiting classes, the future is very bright as is the recent past, showing it's a program that is stable. The committee wants the Ducks to be top 4. Oregon is now a top 6 job in college football. Basically Oregon is the Clemson West of the Rockies.

No reason to leave the job for the grind of the SEC.

It's not all about money. Plus he has a ton of bonuses he can get and he has unlimited support. For instance, if the Alabama job came open next year, I am not entirely sure I as a coach would want to take that job even if they offered me 10 million a year. Why? Because I am not filling Saban's shoes.

Get paid 10 million a year and be out in 2 years? Or get paid 3 million and be set for as long as you want? Which do you take? I'd prefer stability and easier path to a championship then the pressure of coaching in Alabama (Insert SEC team here with unrealistic expectations) and be out in a couple years.

Or does he see what happened to Taggart and realize the risks because he saw it first hand?

Oregon is almost exactly the same job as Clemson.

Who is to say if Oregon thought Cristobal could be leaving they don't offer him a raise?
