You said they’re small. They’re not small. They’re the OL he hand-picked and theres nothing wrong with them other than they need to be coached. Two guys? Only one team has allowed more sacks... Old Dominion.
My post stated this: "I watched a video related to a breakdown of the Colorado spring game. The "guy" said that the O-line looked small in relation to other programs."You said they’re small. They’re not small. They’re the OL he hand-picked and theres nothing wrong with them other than they need to be coached.
Sanders was asked about Colorado's struggle to protect Sheduer:
"The big picture, you got get new linemen. That's the picture and I'ma paint it perfectly" - Deion Sanders
Let's break down the stupidity of this response:
1. You just told the guys that protecting your son they don't have a job next year.
2. If he wants to get his son killed more than what is already happening this is the best way to do it.
3. Good offensive linemen have mega opportunities in the portal and they aren't cheap.
4. Recruits have to be starting to get nervous about playing for Deion because of comments like this.
To be honest the O-line is just part of the problem:
1. I don't know who is coaching the wide receivers but not one of them has a clue what to do once the QB starts scrambling and more times than not they just stop at their route instead of coming back to help.
2. Their focus on the passing game (to boost Sheduer's numbers) and lack of ability to run the ball have made them one-dimensional and quality coaches like Chip Kelly drool when they see that on tape. UCLA linemen just pinned their ears down and went after the QB every play because there was no other threat.
3. Sander's hired probably one of the worst DCs in division 1 football in Charles Kelly. Jimbo couldn't dump him fast enough and didn't even think about bringing him to aTm.
The fault lines are becoming valleys in Colorado.
My first question is whether he even bothers to grind out one season.I just wonder what his personal timeline is. Will he stay two, three, more seasons just to say he coached at P5 FBS level? Does he stay gone a year or two, then come back and coach some mid level G5 program?
You just made it personal.........he’s now going to be known as “Grind Time”....coach Grind...quack..My first question is whether he even bothers to grind out one season.
Grime Time suits his shtick. You just made it personal.........he’s now going to be known as “Grind Time”....coach Grind...quack..

Pat Narduzzi trashed the Pitt team after ND game. He said something to the effect that they were supposed to bring in players to win and we didn’t do that. (I’m paraphrasing but it was pretty close to that. The players’ reactions on social media were about what you’d expect. He apologized to them today but I’m pretty sure he’s lost the locker room. We've seen several coaches make comments like this during the season. Never a good idea to publicly criticize your players, especially now that they can hop ship to another team so easily
Not if they already hopped ship to Colorado. We've seen several coaches make comments like this during the season. Never a good idea to publicly criticize your players, especially now that they can hop ship to another team so easily
We know Hunter is entering the draft this year and Deion has said his son isn't but if the kid gets a good enough evaluation he may be gone this year as well or end up in the hospital. If Deion doesn’t start coaching soon, and make no mistake he won’t because he’s not a coach, they’ll be another house on the market in Boulder.
honestly never considered that. If that is his intention, and I’m not sure it is, it’s still ultimately for his bottom line.We know Hunter is entering the draft this year and Deion has said his son isn't but if the kid gets a good enough evaluation he may be gone this year as well or end up in the hospital.
Once those two are gone replacing them will be unbelievably hard and I'm not convinced he is even interested in coaching once his sons have graduated. Honestly, he seems to be doing this to micromanage their exposure and manipulate their opportunities.
If you think about it he started coaching once the oldest started playing college and the guy is a control freak who probably got the high school coaches to do whatever he wanted so I'm almost convinced that is what got his interest in coaching started.honestly never considered that. If that is his intention, and I’m not sure it is, it’s still ultimately for his bottom line.
