Favre threatened to retire at least two seasons prior to actually retiring and then changed his mind. The Packers had moved on to Rodgers but traded Favre to the Jets to avoid a QB controversy. Favre tried sticking it to the Packers by signing with the Vikings and pissed off lots of Packer fans. He later apologized to Packers fans once he was done playing and then had his number retired.

I don’t disagree at all that they shouldn’t have consulted with him or asked him who he wants as HC. But the Texans haven’t even passed on Bienemy yet or another minority HC or OC. If the Texans do, ok, whine to the media and make an issue. But this is like a 8 year old girl throwing a fit that she didn’t get a car for her birthday party.

If anything Watson should be happy as hell his GM isn’t his choice for when Bienemy fails. Bienemy has been put on such a fictitious pedestal that there is zero chance he will live up to the hype and Watson or any advocate for him needs someone else to take the blame.

Favre was also told by the Packers that Rodgers was going to be the starter

Favre also announced his retirement a few months earlier, but decided to come back

just a horrible comparison all around, tbh

2 things.

A. He has earned that.
B. Russell Wilson can pound sand. The organization has given him everything he has wanted and he is showing frustration that there finally is a playbook out on how to shut him down. I would trade Wilson for Watson straight up and rather have Watson bitch about needing more involvement that Russell Wilson bitch about personnel decisions.

There are reports that Russell Wilson is not happy in Seattle. They could get quite a haul for him.
 
Last season in the playoff game vs buffalo they compared Watson to football's version of Michael Jordan.
