Did anyone see Ohio State made the CFP?

What gives me nightmares is if we do actually somehow pull it off then lose to scUM again for a national championship. I'm not sure my psyche could take it

Yea thats what i've been worrying about too lol.

Hopefully TCU manages to beat them so we don't have to worry about them winning it at all.

I think my PTSD would kick in from the 90s and I'd get arrested for murdering someone with the last name Cooper

On the flip side, somehow beating UGA and then beating Michigan to win the national title would be legendary.

Call me nuts (or any other name, I don't give a shit) but I like Ohio State's chances against Georgia more than I would have Michigan's. JMO
No doubt. Two teams are built and play very much alike. Michigan and Georgia. Both have NFL talent, Georgia has much more and much more high end NFL talent.

The one team in all of CFB I don't want to see Michigan play is -- Georgia. You need to have high end NFL talent at the skill position to attack Georgia's defense. Like Bama with Metchie and Jameson Williams last year. OSU's offense is much better suited to face Georgia with their WR's. Ohio State's problem is their defense is not good against teams with a good offense and especially against an offense that can play physical. That's why you saw them send the house so much against Michigan -- they know their DL isn't going to hold up and their secondary is terrible. It was masked by their schedule, but I am betting the house on Georgia to cover 6.5 against OSU.

I will leave it like this -- Michigan is built with the sole goal to beat OSU. Georgia is built the same way, but with more high end NFL talent and much more depth. I think Georgia absolutely destroys Ohio State. Michigan held OSU to 23 without really getting pressure on the QB. Georgia will not have that issue. They will pressure Stroud with 4 man fronts, just like Michigan did last year, when we had NFL talent on DE.

Nothing I'd rather see than Michigan/OSU in the NC game. I think OSU is in for a LOOOOOONG day. OSU likes to use downfield passing and those plays take time -- Georgia will be the best Defensive front OSU has seen this year by quite a bit. Georgia has the secondary to match the talent on the outside, like they against Tennessee.

I really hoped that JNS was coming back. I think him and Harrison are the two best route runners in CFB and both catch everything. I think they could have had good days. Harrison and Egbuka doesn't strike as much fear as JNS would.

Dude the WR screen offense is the new thing, did you watch our game? lol.

It's always great when a fan of the team that was built on a offense that was once considered super gimmicky is crying about other teams "only winning" because of supposed gimmick plays. Lol.

I'm serious. Jim Tressel once talked about a trick play they used with Chris Gamble. It was a freaking jet sweep
I kinda hate trick plays. The only one I can really remember working was against Michigan last year when a RB threw a TD pass to AD Mitchell, but they always seems to work against UGA

Generally your more talented teams aren't going to use them. Its always going to be a team looking for an edge in a game they aren't necessarily supposed to win. Last one I can remember working well for Ohio State was the reverse pass from Evan Spencer to Michael Thomas in the semifinal against Bama

I know what happened at the end of the season for Michigan. The rivalry is once again... a rivalry. If Michigan has to play UGA in the natty, I am not so sure that the correct adjustments can be made and made soon enough for Michigan to keep up with Georgia. I don't want to use the old "Georgia can't be beat". But this year, they won the SEC and headed for back to back national championships. They will have their head on straight.

UGA will be hard to beat, but I think they can be beat. This isnt like some years where one team was clearly "unbeatable".

OSU may have to rely on those WR screens against Georgia. Will be interesting to see how OSU's OL holds up against Georgia defensive front.
