People who don't like Stroud for not running would really hate McCord. He's really a statue back there. Stroud isnt Braxton or anything but he's quite a bit more athletic than McCord.

You guys have a QB who has completed over 70% of his passes for over 8,000 yards with 81 tds and only 12 ints -- Yet you are on here nitpicking the guy.

Your issue isn't the offense -- the reason Michigan has manhandled you guys two years in a row is your defense.

It was the offense this year.

The 2nd half where they couldn't do shit kept our defense on the field a ton, which doesn't help anyone.

Stroud is the best qb prospect OSU has ever had. He throws a much better ball than Fields.

I think our frustration has been not even tapping into his athletic ability. Does anyone think he's less athletic than Josh Allen? He's not built like Allen but jeez.

Like I said before the one game he absolutely HAD to run was NW and dude ran for like 80 yards. It's like wtf

Stroud, like Fields is really gonna struggle in the pros with how the play calls and reads are handled in Days offense.

Stroud doesn't have the legs to bail him out like Fields has had this year though. So its gonna be ugly.
 
And No one would expect CJ to carry the ball 10 times a game like Allen or Fields did. But dude. You literally won't run. It's bizarre.

I just think it's pretty clear he throws a better ball and I don't think it's even close.

Josh Allen is like Cam Newton but a better passer. Allen is a monster. They list him at 240 lbs, but I guarantee he is 250 lbs+ and 6'5".

I can see that. Was my major concern with Haskins coming out. He barely threw down the field it was all short flares to Campbell and McLaurin etc. It was all YAC.

I have less concern with CJ than Haskins though. I see more tight window throws and then Marvin will make insane catches lol

If Stroud gets lucky and gets drafted by the Lions -- we have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL, we have one of the best young WR's in Amon St Brown and we will have a healthy Jameson Williams next year.

I think he could be successful in our offense.

Haskins got fucked with the Redskins though, they took him even though it was pretty clear they never really wanted him there. Can't help but think how things mighta been different if he went to another team out of the draft.

Lol yea funny enough the Lions are the best spot for him. He'd be screwed in Houston or Carolina.

I used Allen in a sense that he can escape the pocket and yet is likely slower than CJ. I get that Allen's build allows him to be more reckless challenging tackles though.

CJ can escape sacks just fine really its just bizarre how he won't tuck and run....ever

I'm not expecting a bunch of designed runs like JT did...even though CJ runs dam near the same 40 and is a hair bigger
