Do any of you non Christians get offended when someone wishes you a Merry Christmas?

I hate the commercialism of Christmas. I hate that Christians adopted a bunch of pagan rituals and incorporated it into the celebration of Christ's birth [and often, it's a complete replacement - such that Christians don't even care about Christ on the celebration of Christ's birth].

If I had my way, there would be no gift exchanges or trees or lights or Santa or any of that crap; Christians would attend a Christmas service in the morning and congregate for a meal and fellowship thereafter - similar to Easter traditions. (Easter is my favorite holiday.)

If you’re taking all of the pagan shit out of it, you might as well move it to his actual birthday.

Nope. I probably answered in this thread last year, but I will again.

It’s Christmas. It’s always been the predominant December holiday in this country. It’s Christmas. Simply.
