I remember my ex-FIL and ex-MIL had talked for years about going to Spain. But, for various reasons, they kept putting it off despite having the money to go any time they wanted to.
They finally committed and set up the trip. FIL picked up the plane tickets a couple of days before the trip and he died of a heart attack that evening.
