Back at the salt mines after vacation. Still a bit out of it, we got in at like 5AM on Sunday morning because our flight out of Denver was delayed. Had a nice vacation otherwise. Enjoyed the scenery out in Colorado.

morning all, quiet weekend.

Saturday cleaned house, had lunch with my dad, sis, and nephew. I drove out west metro to try food truck at brewery, the food truck mostly operates out of said brewery and I went the day it wasn't there. Food truck that was there has good burgers, but I wanted to try something different, so will have to rope my dad into going again (it's in middle of both of us, so it works)

My uncle was in hospital and now in a nursing home. I doubt he'll leave the nursing home this time, he can't take care of himself. My other uncle went over and picked up his dog and cleaned up his place, said it was absolutely disgusting because he just can't take care of the house, himself, or his dog properly....

One thing I definitely noticed after I got over adjusting to the altitude was the distinct lack of humidity. The folks up there were apologizing for 90-degree temps, I was like, whatever, feels better than 85 back home.

If you take out the humidity I love the 90 degree temps. Makes these old bones feel good

picking out a roofer, contacted one that mailed me letter instead of going door to door

Do i reward interrupting me during the day multiple times or being lazy?

As a lazy person.....

Friends that just moved to Colorado are thrilled about less humidity in brief time there, weather was a big factor in their change and mountains

Supposedly Colorado is state with the most amount of sunny days per year. I could handle that

The drive from Ft. Collins to Rocky Mountain National Park was something else. Most of it was up a canyon carved out by a river. I'm definitely not used to having mountaintops be outside of the normal view of my windshield. Beautiful drive up.

That would be cool, although I've been on few mountain roads where you see steep drop and it's a little unsettling

Got a roofer stopping after work, time to get project booked and a sign in our yard to people stop knocking on our door

We didn't have anything along those lines. Thought about driving up to the Continental divide when we were at Rocky Mountain, but it was late in the day and I didn't want to drive up that far in low/no light.
