Well good news- ALL of the Bears' QBs (dating back at least to Erik Kramer, and probably further to Mike Tomczak) were overpaid, and paid more than what Shedeur Sanders is worth. To find a team that overpays QBs for imaginary talent more, you'd be Cleveland territory.
You're not going to get me to gush about Jordan Love. I wasn't convinced until last season he was anything better than a career back in this League. Now I think he's a low-end starter, and I think the money was a gamble, yes. The team entered this season with virtually zero in the way of backup at the position and could well go 2-6 now until Love returns.
