Early Season Tournaments Thread

Yikes Miami. They look terrible.

This Pitt/LSU game is pretty ugly, but at least it's close. Lol. The ACC could really use this win.

Damn. Bennett knew what he was doing. This UVA team is awful.

News Flash.

Tennessee is great again.

Good for Baylor they snuck away with that win last night. This team is flawed as shit

This Miami team is horrendous again.

Yeah, I don't get it either. McNeese could probably be a Q2 win if they get them in the final, but there's nothing else there. Drake, Wichita and St Johns at least offer some opportunities, but yeah not great. But none of those games are at home so hardly a guarantee. Gonna need a 2-1 record in those to put themselves in a good position.

And yeah, Hawkins has been terrible. What a waste of 2 million bucks. Lol.
Liberty is a sneaky solid squad. But still that's not a good home loss for Kstate

That team is shaky as all hell early

Yeah pretty brutal loss. Now instead of McNeese in the final they get Longwood. Longwood is a good low major, but McNeese is a good bit better. Also, what a complete waste of money Hawkins has been. I can't believe he got $2 million. I mean good for him, but yikes.

Man Drake pretty much rolled right through that tourney

Could be a pleasantly surprising year

Yeah 2 mil for that guy was insane haha

That's the NIL landscape for you but wild.

Didn't notice that Ihnen carved them up haha

I saw someone tweet that he was part of the key run with a couple 3's and had 10 points up to that point. Just saw he had 16 and 7. Sheesh. That has to be a top 3 game of his career.

Good thing Reed is looking like a nice pick up because I’m not sure Samson Johnson is capable of not being in foul trouble

Tyrese Hunter legacy game. Wow.

UConn. You gotta play 40 minutes against them

What a comeback. What a choke.

OT

Wow what a game.

I hope the fuckwad officials don't ruin it with some dumb foul

Holy shit, that game was fucking insane. Maui ALWAYS delivers. So glad to see it back to its normal home. Memphis looked great. UConn will be fine. Just a missed opportunity for a Q1 win. Now UConn likely gets Colorado, so their schedule will take a little bit of a hit.
