Egg Prices In Your Area

Family Farm and Home only had bannie pullets left yesterday. And bantam eggs aren’t much bigger than a robins. Fuck that.

Even if you get some chickens laying medium size eggs.. how many you need per day? Them chix lay 1-2 a day?

Raised chickens as a kid, I’m no expert, but I don’t think they lay eggs every day in the winter. Maybe if you get real good lighting or something.

True. Winters up there you may not get much. Here you may get a few here and there

^^ THIS ^^

My coops windows face the south. Less sunlight means egg production slows down in winter months.

That being said I can buy farm fresh eggs for $2/dozen all day/everyday from multiple people around these parts.

I used to be able to.

This price gouging neighbor kid though, he drives a hard bargain.

Woah, IGA’s still exist!?!
Up here in Canuckistan they do. Lot's of 'em. Pretty decent grocery store too. Here's what they look like these days.

I just paid 5 something for 18. Was 3 something for a dozen. Got a free 18 a few weeks ago as a Fred Meyer reward. I haven't seemed to find the extreme egg prices everyone's been up in arms about.
