Yeah I am not a gambler either. Sure I have fun every so often and go to casino or do some playing with $10 on an app every now and then as a time waster.

Vegas is a place where you arrive in a multimillion dollar plane and leave on a 100k bus. That was my dad's line as a kid. Him and mom would do Vegas every year but set down limits. They won half the time and brought home a few dollars but to them it was entertaining just like going to movies.

I think betting on phones will bring down the youth of America more than drugs ever did. Every commercial on a sports station is a betting app. Every other commercial on any other station. If there is that much advertising then there is that much money being drained from your wallet.

It should definitely be illegal to gamble under the age of 18. Maybe it is not sure.

Sure is. I bet you could find a 10 yr old without a smartphone. Might not be easy. All day every day kids on bombarded with these ads.

Gotta be of age to look at porn. Think that stops under 18ers?

To set up a gambling app you need to link up some pretty personal things like your bank account & social. I don’t think it’s something a kid could do. My ten year old has never once brought up gambling and I’ve never seen any adds on the stuff he’s watching on his iPad. Not to say they aren’t there, I’ve just never seen or heard about them myself.

Television, sure.

Or just think... people travel from their <$400K house to a multi-billion dollar casino and think "I'm smarter or luckier than these fuckers"

Betting is mostly a sucker's game and even worse over the long run.

My wife worked with a girl whose husband gambled away 16k and didn’t tell her lol

I feel like he drank A LOT, too.

last time I was in Vegas one of my coworkers gave me $20 to play blackjack. Turned that into $120 five minutes later, cashed out, gave my coworker back his $20 and walked away.

Used that free money as a buy-in for a poker tournament and busted 2 places out of the money.

money in your hands in vegas is transient.

When I joined Fan Duel, the Casino gave he a 50% cash match. So I bet $50 to win $200 on one hand of blackjack and won.

Immediately cashed out and I’ve never gambled using the casino stuff again.
