EPL 2021/2022

He's done well so far, but it won't be long until the real underperforming Tuchel shows up.

As far as UCL, I'll be pulling for Bayern out of the "big boys", would love to see someone like Villareal or Atalanta win it though. Anyone except Man City, Chelsea or PSG will be fine though.
Actually, I think Bayern has no chance this year. Their depth is astonishingly bad this season. Already, their fullbacks all injured. Pavard out 4 weeks, Hernadez out still from Euro injury. A couple more big injuries and crisis mode. Things change a little if they get Sabitzer, then their midfield will be lethal. I pick them to finish second in Bundesliga.

As far as dark horses, don't count out Liverpool, Man United, Dortmund, Leipzig, Real Madrid, Atalanta, Juventus.

Of course, UCL is a crap shoot. Lewandowski was injured the PSG series last year. If he was healthy Bayern probably could have won again. Also, a yellow card or red card suspension at the wrong time could know the big boys out. All that money, and something as simple as a key player out for a card suspension. Remember when Liverpool knocked out Bayern a few years ago? Bayern had both Kimmich and Muller suspended for the second leg, doesn't mean they would have won with them, as Liverpool was fantastic that year, just it can afffect things.

EDIT: I am just reading Bayern has agreed to terms with Sabitzer. That changes a lot of things.

Everything for LPool depends on their team health. If their key players (particularly Van Dyke) stay healthy, they're a top team. But, they're somewhat thin in certain areas. As we saw last season, a few key injuries completely change their dynamic.

lol arsenal man

UNITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hell of a goal by Everton just now

Good win for Spurs. Kane not even suited, but Son doing his job.

Son is Spurs best player. He not only scores but creates chances For others. Levy‘s Priority should be to make sure Son resigns (still has 3 years left) over Kane IMO.

Edit

His contract expires in 2025. My bad.

Yeah Son re-signed about a month ago. Superb player. Great pace too. Use the Kane money and fill in around Son.

lol arsenal man
I see Aubameyang is available. This guy is biggest malcontent. Doing the same stuff at Arsenal, that he did at Dortmund. I would never have given him that new contract, but now is time to sell. 32 years old now...so value has dropped.

Man City, if you can't Kane...Aubameyang lol? I see Barca interested but where are they going to find money.

Nuno set the team up really well. Having 3 very fast options on the counter attack suited the team perfectly.

Tanganga and Skip were very impressive, but the guy who has been most impressive so far to me has been Lucas. The guy is a terror in the midfield. It's a shame we haven't been using him there till now.

I'm hoping Spurs pull the trigger and sell Kane this week. Need to get that drama behind them and build out the team.

Dele Alli played well too. Where has he been? One thing about Nuno, is once Spurs scored, they did not pack it in like Mourinho would. They kept attacking.

Nuno's tactics (at least for the City game) were similar to Jose's in that we sat back most of the game and looked to counter.

Biggest differences I could see with my untrained eye were that we kept 2-3 up top to counter where Jose would have 1-2. A lot easier to cover if it's just 1 outlet option.

Spurs seemed much more aggressive in defense too. That could be simply because fans were in the stands or it could be a Nuno thing. Remains to be seen, but we definitely looked opportunistic out there and ready to pounce on lateral passes.

Found a live stream of the Europa Conf League game today...and feel like I will never get those 90 minutes back. Spurs played their youth squad, so the 1-0 loss is about what I expected. I'm beginning to think they will have to pay another team to take Winks off their hands. That guy is just terrible at every phase of the game.

On a positive note, in my search to find a live stream of the game, I came across the greatness of HesGoal.com. Basically any game you could possibly want to watch is on there somewhere.
