EPL 2021/2022

Liverpool playing like the best team in the world right now.
I think they are. Would have killed Bayern Munich in UCL semi-final if Bayern had not been upset.

But also, Man U so bad, after 1st goal Pogba "faked" an injury to get out of the game lol knowing what was coming for next 80 minutes.

Banking my Spurs 4th place hopes on this continuing. Despite their current position in the table, ManU has looked like a rudderless ship for about 90% of this season.

Arsenal's temporary great form had me concerned. But, even when they were winning games, it was only by a goal (1-0, 2-1) and rarely in dominant fashion.

Spurs have the best manager of the 3 by a mile. Just need to keep focused and not give it away...can basically bank on the others tripping themselves up.

Arsenal should lose to Chelsea tomorrow.

Man U brutal today. Harry Maguire should not be near the English team come World Cup. He is not even average this season. There is nothing likeable about anyone on that team. Maybe De Gea. Maybe the Hannibal kid that came on taking legs out and throwing elbows. Marcus Rashford..soft and emo. Not going to work in EPL that type of personality.

Almost time. I feel gross rooting for Chelsea, but the gooners need to lose today!

So far Arsenal hanging in there. 2-2 at half.

Big win for Arsenal. What has happened to Chelsea defense. Flat out sucks recently.

Focused on the FA cup and played their 2nd string. Didn't help Spurs any. Oh well, gotta take care of business over the weekend.

I did notice that. That Sarr guy on defense was bad. Brentford won't be easy. That is a hot team right now.

That's the way EPL go sometimes. Arsenal couldn't find their ass from a hole in the ground, losing 3 games in a row to mediocre-to-bad clubs, but turned around and managed to beat once of the best teams in europe in their own stadium.

Spurs looked like an unstoppable force winning 6 of their last 7 and pouring in 24 goals in the process only to not even have a shot on goal at home vs Brighton.

Could make the case that Arsenal were due to snap out of their funk while Spurs were due for a stinker. Still, if you were to tell me a few weeks ago that Arsenal would lose 3 of their next 4 games while Spurs would win 3 of 4, I would take it in a heartbeat.

I check in on the fivethirtyeight league predictions every so often. It's wild how much top 4 has swung. At the start of this 4 game run, they had Arsenal with a 65% chance of 4th. Before yesterday it was Spurs with a 65%. Now its 50-50 with a slight edge to Arsenal again. Looks like it could all well come down to May 12th in Tottenham.

Outside of the NLD, I really think Arsenal will drop points in at least one of the following games:

ManU, @WestHam, @Newcastle

Good chance Spurs drop points @Liverpool and a fair chance they also drop points this weekend.

Gonna be a nerve racking run in

Too bad Spurs couldn't have played Brentford second game before Eriksen signing. But Brentford due for a stinker too soon. Arsenal ManU will be interesting. Is Ronaldo going to play? No way to predict that game. West Ham and Newcastle on the road will not be easy. Just like the Spurs with Brentford, Newcastle is someone you would have preferred to be done with in the first half of the season.

Yeah, at this point its impossible to really predict how any of those 3 (Spurs, Arsenal, ManU) will play game to game. Makes it both exciting and insanely frustrating to be a fan :gaah:

Burnley routing Southhampton in their makeup game right now. They might still get out of relegation as Leeds and Everton schedules brutal and Burnley's soft remaining. I see Leeds winning 1 game maybe and Everton maybe 2.

Hopefully vs Arsenal

Arsenal did their part today. Bring on the coroner for Man U. There is no pulse at all there. Despicable these performances. IMO: Maguire, Rashford, Sancho should be bounced from English World Cup roster.

RICHARLISON A BITCH!

Richarlison has B.A. Degree from The Neymar School of Play Acting.
So awesome that the 1 time out of 23 that he might have been actually fouled the ref said fuck you and let the game play on.

Everton was an embarrassment yesterday. Wasting time from the get go, diving, basically doing everything they could to get a draw by not actually playing soccer. Surprised they didn't call in a bomb threat. Then they threw a tantrum when the boy who cried wolf wasn't taken seriously. Fuck them, enjoy relegation.

Could be worse i guess. Villa doesn't time waste much, but they will take cheap shots on your guys and try to get them injured.

I think last relegation spot is down to Everton or Leeds. Burnley back to back wins against decent teams and their schedule is relatively light. Everton brutal except for Watford, but even if they only beat Watford they are still 1 point behind Leeds. Leeds plays Palace today. Their easiest game left.
