Rashford is mentally soft. He has the physical skills no doubt but got out of form for so long because he is mentally weak. His night after the game is a cup of warm milk by the fire and reruns of Downton Abbey. You just know it.
 
English Championship games on today. We can all watch Josh Sargent right now......maybe not :blah:
 
It'll be really interesting to see how the players return. We saw a lot of english players slump after the Euros. I'd imagine there will be a number of players with WC hangovers for a while

Man City vs Liverpool tomorrow Moose Cup game. Backups playing? With Holidays there are no EPL games this weekend but a bunch starting Monday.

Great game and chances on both ends. In the end City finished and LFC didn't. It sucks to lose but I'm not sad LFC is out of this. Finishing in the top 4 should be the ultimate goal.
 
EPL back. Finally club soccer. Thankfully I have the whole week off. Newcastle off and running like first half of season. Spurs stumbled already.

Spurs are so lucky to get a point. Back line play was crappy and Brentfords counter worked Some. Kane with a beautiful header though. That result actually helps LFC.

There was no way i was waking up in time for the early kickoff. Highlights indicated Spurs had the best chances to go ahead and win it.
Not exactly the high level start back I would have wanted to see from Spurs, but not a complete disaster either.

You very well could have been down 3-0 in the first 45. Your back line (much like Liverpool) gave up too many chances. But yes you could have gotten All 3 in the end as well. A point was about right.

Glad i didn't even attempt to wake up early for an abortion like that then. Not having Bentancur in our midfield just really throws everything off for Spurs.

Biggest surprise of the year has to be how poorly Son has been. Starting to look like we need to play with 3 mids and just 2 up top, neither of those 2 being Sonny. Something I never thought i'd even entertain coming in to the season.

Now that doesn’t mean you guys couldn’t have gotten all 3 ether. The first half wasn’t good but ya’s woke up in the 2nd and got at least a point.

I can’t believe Son has been quiet this year. I always said the last few years he was your best threat offensively.

Truthfully I think they are trying to get younger up front. They should be doing that in the back too but I could see him playing wing in the midfield as Henderson and Thiago are in their 30’s and Fabinho turns 30 next season. I also think because he was a cheaper signing then Bellingham that’s why they did it. I expect LFC to not get Jude because John Henry is turning into a cheap fuck. (See me Red Sox for further proof :biggrin:)
 
It’s a joke LFC is up. They way they’ve given the ball away and have overshot just about every cross. That goal From Leicester was absolute pathetic defense. Kudos to that kid taking it half the field and scoring. For all that have missed this the only reason LFC is ahead is because a Leicester defender found the net twice, FOR LIVERPOOL. One let’s call an “anfield bounce” and the other Nunez should have scored but hit the post and kind of ricochet off the Leicester defender.

I fully expect a draw here, but if we keep playing the way we are playing a loss is definitely deserved.
