Yet eleven of us continue paying for this shit every month. (Guess who stopped a long time ago?)

I go to a friend's place or to a sports bar if I want to see sports.

I have not paid for any sports or entertainment subscriptions or live events in a very long time.

When sports bowed to social change I quit. I will not support it and I won't help pay these assholes' outrageous contracts.

I was so pissed when the NHL's "Center Ice" package transitioned to ESPN+ the beginning of last season. I had kicked ESPN to the curb for a long time, but I was staring down "if you ever want to see the Detroit Red Wings play hockey again, you have to subscribe to ESPN+". Fuck.

I'm hoping with the pending collapse of the Bally Sports networks, the NHL will reroute Wings coverage to a means that will allow me to circumvent ESPN entirely again. I f'n HATE ESPN.
