It sickens me I get a Comcast Bill for $200+ a month but still need ESPN+ to watch certain Mountaineer games. It’s going to be like that with Peacock too now for LFC games.
But you are right, I’ll still pay it for the live sports.
Go to HULU Live ($70) and stream. You will only be paying Comcast for internet service. You'll get ESPN+ bundled in.
I'm at a mid-range internet speed and data limit ($65/month) and it's enough to run 5 devices without issue.
I've gotten close to the data limit during bowl season, but now I just hotspot my phone for internet to my PC. It's data I'm already paying for in my cell company bill.
Total bill for internet and streaming is appx $135/month.
I have a $25 (one time cost) digital antenna for FOX, ABC, NBC, and CBS, so I'm not using much data for ESPN, ESPN2, FS1, during the regular season and CCG's.
CFB viewership clearly shows that over-the-air broadcasts (FOX, ABC, NBC, and CBS) have more viewership than ESPN
by far. There is also NO DELAY over the air.
The problem with bowl season is the vast majority of those games are on ESPN where I have to use streaming data.
