Germany vs England. I am out of town Friday through Monday and have a work event Wednesday. This works perfectly for me.

They lucked out. Goretzka needs to play every damn game. And Sane needs to sit every game. Play Musiala. He set up Goretzka for the winner. In two years, Musiala and Wirtz are going to push Sane and few others out of this team for good.

Sane is woeful. Sloppy with the ball, horrible crosses, especially that late corner kick, nearly had a handball in the box and he was responsible for second goal. Good God wtf is he doing out there? I don't think he will get a minute the rest of the series. Interesting Low never took him off. Other garbage performers like Gnabry and Gundogan and Gosens came off, even Havertz who was pitiful other than the tap in after Gulacsi howler. But Sane stayed on.

Today the subs from Low were sublime. I have to say….Mannschaft is one of my favorites, but I started pulling for the scrappy Hungarians….especially when they popped back into the lead right away.

Alas, I just don’t think they had what they needed for defensive fortitude to hold Germany off for that much time.

I haven’t paid a moments attention to Belgium, so I feel blind there. Stats wise I see a massive knockout game between Italy and Belgium coming.

Just for grins I’ll be slightly contrarian and take Belgium v Netherlands.

That right side of the bracket feels pretty weak actually. It’s set up damn well for an underdog like Wales. I would like to see that, but getting past the Dutch might prove too tough.

Agreed. The side playing at games end should start. When Scoretzka came though I cheered. I'm not usually vocal watching things.

Sane seemed drugged.
 
Can't wait for the matches starting tomorrow.
 
Was doing dumbass work crap for 10 days, worked through the weekend and everything. Excited to finally get to watch the games live.

He made some really bad calls. The missed call that led to the 2nd Denmark goal really changed the game. The red card was a bad call too, should have been a yellow
 
The second game I took both teams to score at a value (+125).

Italy aint holdn 4 straight to 0.
