Rumors are Rumors but Morris is the one college QB at a P5 Texas school who is going to be entrenched as a starter. He's getting into a battle for the starting job there. I'm guessing he could beat out Bohannon at Baylor pretty easy but that's a multi year starter and out talenting the guy is hard to do. He needs to go somewhere like A$M where he walks into a starting job and had talent around him.

whoa i got him confused.. yeah he's at TCU.. he had a game vs Baylor I think.. I don't believe my friends buddy who's an insider for TCU on this one. It doesn't make sense to me. If he's all about maximizing his worth now, in college, he has to go to the flagship, UT or the second biggest school who has a lot of talent coming in, aggy.

Whoever is advising this kid is ass. Thought he would come in 2 weeks before the season and eventually start this year. Didn't anticipate that Ryan Day really knows QB's and the other 3 guys all had a chance to be good.
He decided that he might not actually beat out a Heisman finalist for the starting job next year. Had some NIL stuff in the works that he would never get to sign if he wasn't on the field.
NFL money >>>>> NIL money. Should have stayed in high school, come in this year as an early enrollee and prove he could be the #2 guy next year so he could start 2 years and go be the #1 pick.
That said, good luck to him. Day already replaced him in this class.
