Agree. Should have stayed in nice comfortable Southlake, gone to a championship (they are there without him), enjoyed slaying the pussy, and then gone to college and red shirted a year. He's getting terrible advice his entire life.Whoever is advising this kid is ass. Thought he would come in 2 weeks before the season and eventually start this year. Didn't anticipate that Ryan Day really knows QB's and the other 3 guys all had a chance to be good.
He decided that he might not actually beat out a Heisman finalist for the starting job next year. Had some NIL stuff in the works that he would never get to sign if he wasn't on the field.
NFL money >>>>> NIL money. Should have stayed in high school, come in this year as an early enrollee and prove he could be the #2 guy next year so he could start 2 years and go be the #1 pick.
That said, good luck to him. Day already replaced him in this class.
And I'm hearing A&M isn't even giving Ewers the time of day. We are happy with our own incoming 5 star without having the distraction of Ewers.
