Ewers = Transfer Portal. Wants TX Schools

Whoever is advising this kid is ass. Thought he would come in 2 weeks before the season and eventually start this year. Didn't anticipate that Ryan Day really knows QB's and the other 3 guys all had a chance to be good.

He decided that he might not actually beat out a Heisman finalist for the starting job next year. Had some NIL stuff in the works that he would never get to sign if he wasn't on the field.

NFL money >>>>> NIL money. Should have stayed in high school, come in this year as an early enrollee and prove he could be the #2 guy next year so he could start 2 years and go be the #1 pick.

That said, good luck to him. Day already replaced him in this class.
Agree. Should have stayed in nice comfortable Southlake, gone to a championship (they are there without him), enjoyed slaying the pussy, and then gone to college and red shirted a year. He's getting terrible advice his entire life.

And I'm hearing A&M isn't even giving Ewers the time of day. We are happy with our own incoming 5 star without having the distraction of Ewers.

Evers may be a better get than Ewers anyways.

Yep. Southlake is going to have talent around their QB no matter who it is.

This just popped up on my app. Transferring after one season with Buckeyes.

Wouldn't really even call it a season with the Buckeyes. Guy never saw the field and wasn't even on the 2-deep.

But, kind of a crazy situation with the Buckeyes' qb depth. Stroud is a redshirt freshman and the next 2 ahead of Ewers are also freshmen.

LMAOOO

Tell me you don't follow recruiting without telling me you don't follow recruiting...

Evers is an INT machine

Look I was even in the camp that Weigman was the best of the Ewers, Klubenik, TX trio. But thinking QBs like Evers are better? C'mon. I actually think Quinn should go to Tech where there won't be a bright light on him, because if he chooses Austin.. it's gonna be the jumping into the frying pan. He'll make money wherever he goes.. and it's not like his parents are hurting for money either, they were set for life even when Quinn was still playing HSFB.

FWIW, I think the kid never wanted to go to tosu, but after decommitting from UT.. he jumped right in and didn't want to flip flop again.

But him even being a bust should be better than any QB that currently is on the Tech or UT roster.

this year they do.. last year it wasn't much.. Quinn really did carry them into that championship game and put on a show despite being hurt. Westlake team was more talented and their defense was the best in the state.
But yeah SLC is a machine for the most part.

He just figured out it is cold as shit in Ohio.

Probably also a contributing factor. Get back to the warmth of Texas.

Plus too close to idiots that put chili on spaghetti.
I'm enjoying this 81 degree day down here. About to take a break and walk the trail around a huge pond/small lake.. in flip flops

lesson 1 on why you shouldnt shell out $$ on NIL on an unknown.
id rather give money to a player who contributed but decided to leave rather than just trying to land a big fish.

Man I hope this kid ends up at Texas. :dhd:

not well for the Ohio State backer who lost out on money just so they can say they had him on campus for less than a year. good investment
