Loved Sledge Hammer it was hilarious

I had to look up sledge hammer. I didn't remember it.

Looked like a fun show.

I watched a ton of CHIPS and Macgyver after school as a kid on reruns. Both in the realm of detective/cop show. Not even really sure what Macgyver's job was other than working for the secretive "phoenix foundation"

Hart to Hart - They were amateurs/crime hobbyists. Not real detectives.

Masquerade - Never heard of it, which means it was no good.

Quincy - Was a coroner, not a detective.

Crime solvers all.

Masquerade was cut short when one of the main actors was killed by a prop gun on set. Only lasted a few episodes. It showed great promise.
Quincy was a coroner who solved crimes outside of the morgue.

And I consider MacGyver a detective show since he was always solving crimes and fixing problems. And MacGyver slays all.
