Formula One

The last few laps with the all of the position changes at the front we’re great. Even with Schumacher vs Verstappen was good. And the crazy start. Was one of the best races of the year.

Not one of, the best of the year.

By a country mile.

Great race in Austria this past weekend. LeClerc overtook Verstappen three times.
Shitty break for Sainz, he would have passed Max easily on that lap or the next and would've given Ferrari a 1-2.
His car went up in flames quick too.

This would be a hell of a championship battle of Ferrari had any kind of reliability

Also, many rumors that Danny Ric will be gone from McLaren.
Replacements mentioned: Sebastian Vettel, Alex Albon, Oscar Piastri, Colton Herta.
here's a link, but have seen similar on several sites.

Vettel, Albon, Piastri or Herta… who should replace Ricciardo for F1 2023?
I’ve heard some rumors of Danny Ric going to NASCAR next season. I think he’d thrive there with the new more road course heavy schedule. Oval racing is a different animal that will take time to learn, but if he puts in the effort, I think he can get there

He grew up a NASCAR fan, particularly Dale Earnhardt (it's why he uses #3), I think he's done some oval track/stock car in Australia.

I think he could come to NASCAR, with his personality he'd be a quick fan favorite. Also, I can see him staying with McLaren but moving to IndyCar on the Arrows team.

It’s just rumors. But there’s real talk of a second open wheel invasion into NASCAR, hopefully if it happens it’ll be more successful than the last go around. Kimi Raikkonen is running a Cup race at Watkins Glen this year and some retired back marker F1 driver I can’t remember the name of is gonna run some races too.

Throttle issue caused it. This season has told me to never buy a Ferrari if I win the lottery. Most mechanically unreliable team ever. Lack of reliability has pretty well handed Verstappen the drivers championship and Red Bull the constructor’s

Ferrari is so incompetent. Calling Sainz to pit while he’s passing Perez for a podium spot. This is the same team that tried to get Sainz to hold back and keep Leclerc in his slip stream which would have likely cost him the win had he agreed to do it

And then they call him into pit anyways and they piss away a podium

Pretty big choke job by checo late

His interview said it was his mistake.

I swear I never understand Ferrari's strategy. Think their Strategist should be removed LOL
