Sounds like Danny Ric is out at McLaren next year.
Everyone saw that coming. Making way for Piastri. My guess is if he stays in F1, he ends up back with Alpine, since Alonso is leaving for Aston Martin and Piastri with McLaren, maybe Williams if they get rid of Latifi.

Alpine would be a good landing spot. I doubt Williams dumps their pay driver.

I could see him going to Indycar, and making some select road course starts in NASCAR

I definitely see Indy or NASCAR for Danny Ric in the future.

I doubt they will do it now, but Williams could dump Latifi at some point, now with a new owner, they don't really NEED his dad's money, and they have a young American driver (Logan Sargeant) tearing it up, he'll be driving in FP1 at the US Grand Prix for them (in Latifi's car). I think he's their future.

thought they said it is his (not theirs) option next year per contract.
So if they kick him to the curb, does that mean they pay him for next year even though he isnt driving?

I have no idea. McLaren is at the center of just about every non NASCAR Motorsports controversy this year though

I have heard rumblings of him going to Haas & Schumacher being out, but I have a hard time believing that since I think Schumacher (at least in name) brings in money doesnt he?

You’d think so, but he wasn’t much better than Mazespin last year and Kmag has outperformed him pretty handily this year. Danny Ric would be an upgrade.

He's only there because of his name. Nothing special about him, he's average IMO

definitely would be an upgrade, but as far as F1 goes Haas is poor, so if a driver brings money I would believe he would keep his seat.
if he doesnt bring money, then yeah. He is definitely replaceable.

Ricciardo is an idiot and should never have left Red Bull. He has had 3 podiums in 3 years and 9 in 2017. He let his ego screw him over because in F1 resources are king and you can be the best driver on the planet and won’t win diddly unless you have a car that can compete.

He didn't want to play 2nd fiddle to Verstappen, his real mistake was leaving Renault after one season.

A big knock against him is that it's said he doesn't really help or give any input into the car setup, testing etc the way top drivers like Verstappen, Hamilton, Russell, etc do, basically he just show up at the race.

Yeah, maybe NASCAR isn’t for him either.

Renault has a technology issue and that's why Red Bull ditched them as their engine provider. Since Red Bull went with Honda they have been tearing it up because Honda lets them have input on design to improve efficiency. Renault isn't innovating enough to be competitive.

Take Perez as an example since being behind the wheel of a Red Bull car he has been pulling podiums left and right. He averaged about 2 a year and in the last two years he has 11 and this year isn't over and currently is the number 3 driver in the standings. Daniel made a massive mistake as he would kill to have those stats.

The big surprise this year is Mercedes' slide in that something in their setup didn't click because usually everyone is struggling just to keep up with them. They are 130 points behind Red Bull and I can't wait for the Netflix series on this season because I imagine they are going to be in a foul mood.

I'll wait for the reviews, it's gotten horribly worse every season. Manufacturing drama and issues that don't exist. I don't blame Verstappen for not participating.

Kimi Raikkonen is making his NASCAR Cup series debut on Sunday at Watkins Glen. He made a couple of lower division starts at an oval in 2011, but he’s gonna have a good ride and it’s a road course.

He’s too old to run a full schedule, but if he were to, I bet he’d outperform JPM

News that Audi will join F1 in 2026 with an existing teams and use a new German engine. That's pretty exciting.

One of the worst mistakes I’ve seen Hamilton make.

And Latifi sucks

Just crown Verstappen. Starts 14th, wins by 20 seconds and had the lead within like 15 laps.
