They’re going to continue to struggle until they publicly admit that they didn’t belong in the playoff last year, apologize for failing to show up for the Georgia game and cease and desist all douchebaggery going forward.

1) Coach
2) QB
3) TE
 
I mean if they had started 0-2 against Alabama and Miami, I’d say it’s a rough start, but they can still win the ACC and make the playoffs. But now, VA Tech who opened with a loss to Vandy has a better shot of making the playoffs than FSU

Yeah the coach is safe until at least mid-year and probably more than that with an 84mm buyout so Norvell is going to get desperate pretty soon and that QB will be yanked first and will probably fire the OC as well. The TE can at least block so he has a purpose.
 
Yeah, I will admit I was ready to say DJ is the problem for sure. But he had a ton of decent passes dropped.

BC had 263 rushing yds last night. The entire FSU team is a mess. Particularly in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

If they fire Norvell and have to pay the $84 million buyout, then they'll need to scrap paying the GOR penalty for leaving the ACC early.

And little to no protection from his O-line. He got rattled against GT and BC.
He's gonna see better D-lines and LB stunts going forward.
 
Norvell buyout would be $63M.. which is still cheaper than what aggy had to pay for Jimbo to walk away lol

No way FSU fires him.. one of the guys on surly was saying that they most likely force him to fire his bros that he hired as assistants and hire better coaches around him. That would be much cheaper than canning him along with that staff.

I'm just patiently waiting on 2 of their DT commitments to start popping up in Austin soon enough

just cause you can afford it doesn't mean it's your best move.. that's a $100M out the window on a coach you just re-signed. No idea what would happen if he pushed back on his assistants but I'm sure he's looking around wondering why on Gods green earth does he not have a more talented roster than this current one.. in year..5?
