probably depends heavily on the participating demographics. There's a lot of idealistic young people that love California and New York. Also, if we're being honest, roughly half of the country hate California and New York, while the other half love those states. The half that's in love also tend to be a lot more influential.CA & NY both in the top 12? The people who they polled were obviously on some heavy ass drugs.![]()
Even if the poll wasn't stupid, I wish for the place I live in to always finish at the bottom of public perception.
Colorado is now miserable to live in because all those people think it is so great.
True. Along with Californians, Texans, and nebraskansans.thats what happens when a bunch of people from Iowa move there.

When I moved here 30 years ago the population was just over 3 million people. Today it’s almost 6 million.

Having lived in both states, I prefer living in SW Iowa over, ALMOST, anywhere in Nebraska.
But, if I could choose anywhere in either state, it would be in and around Niobrara, Nebraska.
The overall fishing is better in SW Iowa than anywhere in Nebraska. But the type of fishing I prefer, river cat fishing, is ideal around Niobrara.
ETA: Still, fuck iowa.
