TV Series Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon

Episode 4 was good, but 5&6 I found mostly boring. Daemon’s character is being wasted with his Acid Trips in Harrenhall where he fucks his mom.

It’s just not hitting like it did the first season. I get setting things up, but it seemed like GoT and S1 did a better job with intriguing drama to tide you over. You couldn’t wait to see where the Lannister or Stark storylines were going next. This season none of the storylines/people are likable or interesting IMO. Otto Hightower was the only one before he was sent away not to been seen or heard from.

I’m just not caring about either side. Seems there is no one to root for and that makes me not give a shit who wins. The potential is there, let’s see if anyone emerges as an interesting or likable character.

I haven't read enough to know but I'd almost guarantee that canonically the dragon doesn't just fly around and choose a random dude who absolutely doesn't look Targaryen or Valyrian.

The character in the book at least is an obvious bastard.
 
Overall I really have liked this season, but last nights ep was just slow and meh. And in the end the writers were just like "hey lets give them two chicks making out and a dragon scene to make up for it". At least get them scissoring.

Also Daemon has just been walking around a cursed castle for like 3 or 4 episodes now getting nothing done.
 
the season has been a lot of politics, for sure. I don't mind it, I think it is interesting...but yea it's a slow build.

I like that Rhaenarys wants to get out there and be a warrior queen...she wants to fight and is tired of hiding behind Daemon.

I think Daemon and not-Lake Bell are ready to make big money moves...about time.

Cuz his ma rode to her death knowing he was dead. Even though he wasn’t.

Not hard to assume the fire breathing, flying lizard was also tricked so a couple Targaryens could inbreed.
 
They did the Sowing way different than the book, & this disappointed me.

I wanted to see the Cannibal. That daughter of Daemon's is getting set up to claim Sheepstealer.
 
That final shot with Rhaenrya and her dragons was BADASS
 
Good episode, but god damn they just gotta own the weird choice of make all of House Velaryon black.

Also, they need to stop with this dumb shit of making these little kids all smart mouthed pricks who never get the shit beaten of them when they should. Daemon should have fucked that kid in the ass in front of all his bannermen for talking like that.

yea, that will get their army on his side...

I give the kid a ton of credit for standing up to Daemon.

Daemon thinks he's more than what he actually is and he needed to be taken down a peg and answer for overstepping his role in that slaughter.

The Daemon Targaryen character, definitely the most interesting character in the series, has pretty much been wasted all of season 2.
