Games of Interest Week 5

That’s a pretty weak ass slate of games.

That’s a pretty weak ass slate of games.

It looks a bit better if the rankings are on there.

12pm - #22 Florida @ KY
12pm - aTm @ Arkansas
3:30pm- #24 Kansas @ #3 Texas
6pm - #13 LSU @ #20 Ole Miss

Some other games that could be mildly entertaining:

Clemson @ Syracuse
Georgia @ Auburn
WVU @ TCU
Bama @ Miss St

Sanders is going to throw for 400 yards on SC.. That secondary looks really bad from what I saw late Saturday night

Depends on if his OL can keep him from getting killed again. USC's D is not that good but any even somewhat capable Dline is going to dominate that Colorado OL

Florida ranked 22nd. Do the Gators have the best pass D in the SEC? Who has the best defense that Kentucky has faced? I am telling y'all. This game gonna be good.
I really feel that Southern Cal will win. I will be tuning in only to see.if the Buffs put up over or under 27 points.
Does Duke really have what it takes to compete with Notre Dame? Especially after the last second ND loss at home. Irish know they can't lose another one.

There's only 1 game I know of this weekend with a series record of 79-7-2

It doesn't get better than that.

Boring weekend as far as sports go for me. Badgers have a bye, Packers play a Thursday game, and the Brewers already clinched. Maybe I'll watch some paint dry.

There are a lot of interesting early match-ups this week and not many prime time slots that look that great:

12pm - USC @ Colorado - This should be over quickly but the train wreck that is Colorado is not done yet so that makes it interesting,
12pm - Florida @ KY - Weird game Florida is ranked 22 (which is questionable) and KY is undefeated but played no one but this game rarely disappoints.
12pm - aTm @ Arkansas - Arkansas blew it against BYU but played LSU tough. This one could go any way possible.
3:30pm- Kansas @ Texas - there are a lot of 3:30 shitty games I'll be watching Auburn vs UGA but I don't recommend that one.
6pm - LSU @ Ole Miss - The rivalry game no one understands but those two fanbases.
7:30pm - South Carolina @ Tennessee - This is more of a flip-during-commercials kind of game.
7:30pm - Notre Dame @ Duke - Don't be sleeping on the Blue Devils.

The slate is not great and I did not find one B1G game that I felt was interesting and the ACC and Big 12 were pretty weak.

I'll do a one week avy bet with you.

Nebraska at least keeps the Meatchicken game a one score game and it will be the most exciting game this week.

So basically you are taking Nebraska at +8 and if the score ends up 16 to 24 then it's a push, correct?

The "most exciting game this week" is subjective and we can't measure that (but it won't be) so it has to be a points-driven bet that can be measured.

careful, our QB is "day to day" with a high ankle sprain. Could see Max come back in. Max is great for a drive or two but isn't someone who can sustain drives all game.
QB is done for the year now.
It’s Maximus Johnsonimus from here on in.

Tennessee v SCar might have some heat when it’s all said done. UT wants some revenge from the Hooker game last year but this years team may not be the one to enact any so… could be a bit of an entertaining cripple fight..

Clemson at Syracuse could be sneaky good as well, CU has struggled up there before and they have to be spinning a bit right now.

And yes Friday is high school night but Utah v OSU could be real good.

Based on the fact you liked my post we are doing a one week avi bet and you are taking Nebraska +8.

We will put our unbiased judge of all avi bets on notice to enter this into the log. Calling @Red_Alert

SEC has NONE of the top 5 scoring offenses OR defenses through four games? There are four PAC offenses outscoring the SEC? And the number 1 scoring team in the US (points for less points against) is Oklahoma. Only thing the B1G has to crow about is the #1 scoring defense with Michigan. Crazy season so far.
