My old girl Sylvia, 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE with the 5.3 finally died last month. 298,000 miles +. I had a new transmission installed at 200,000 miles, but the engine dropped a cylinder & I had to cut her loose.

Picked up a GMC diesel.... Birmingham, Alabama metro Diesel is at $3.69/Gallon

Late last week it was 2.44. That was about 10 cents less than any place around here. going thru that little town later today, so I'll what it is now.

I'm seeing around $2.99 for the majors and a couple of cents less for the independents. So it's come down a little since last week.

A few of the independents are charging a nickel or more LESS if paying "cash"...
