This is what her looked like with a tan landau roof. Garage bought it fixed otnto tip top and he bought it. Few years later I was driving it....

It had a 327 with the Powerglide two speed.

My first truck was a '68 C/10 step side. I put 10" aluminum slot rims with low profile 60s all around. It had a 327 with the Powerglide two speed.
I almost bought a truck with a power glide tranny before I got my '81 chevy. Almost traded that in for a Toyota 4x4. My dad scared me off the Toyota. He said if I get stuck in that I was stuck for real and he knew I was a risk taker as he heard of the shit I did in my 2 wheel drive. I agreed. He is smart guy.

They can handle 1,500 HP from the factory. That tranny is what most drag cars ran back in day. Came stock in so many GM applications. It was overkill at the lower end vehicles it was put in for sure. They made a cast iron and a cast aluminum version. If you find an aluminum one grab it, it's worth some money....

I have seen them put in on the cheap for drags today. Motortrend shows....

My youngest had a shadow convertibles turbo for a first car. Brand new. But dad worked for Chrysler and it was a company lease.

Nobody has mentioned GTO Judge yet?
If money grew on trees I'd have a 1970 Plymouth Superbird.

It's funny, because when these cars were new, nobody wanted them.

They were considered 'cartoon' cars. They were 'out of place'. No adults wanted them.

You never saw many if any Judges.
And Dealers couldn't 'give' the Superbirds away, and they sat on their lots forever.

We used to laugh at both of those cars when they were new.
