1st year of the downsize.First wife's dad got her a 78 monte Carlo. Best thing about marrying her was that car. So fucking smooth
Probably my favorite body style is 68 to 72 Chevy C10s.
It had a 327 with the Powerglide two speed.
I almost bought a truck with a power glide tranny before I got my '81 chevy. Almost traded that in for a Toyota 4x4. My dad scared me off the Toyota. He said if I get stuck in that I was stuck for real and he knew I was a risk taker as he heard of the shit I did in my 2 wheel drive. I agreed. He is smart guy.My first truck was a '68 C/10 step side. I put 10" aluminum slot rims with low profile 60s all around. It had a 327 with the Powerglide two speed.

I have seen them put in on the cheap for drags today. Motortrend shows....They can handle 1,500 HP from the factory. That tranny is what most drag cars ran back in day. Came stock in so many GM applications. It was overkill at the lower end vehicles it was put in for sure. They made a cast iron and a cast aluminum version. If you find an aluminum one grab it, it's worth some money....
That top one. That's the GM style is awesomeThis is so weird.
Out of all the GTO's, a '72 or '73 would be at the top of my list.

Sold my '49 F1 earlier this year. Looking to get rid of the '66 mustang too (coupe, keep your panties on).First on my bucket list should be a 1965 Pontiac GTO

Then I would not mind having a late 60s model Porsche 911

And then I wouldn’t mind having a very old truck. My dad had a guy who used to work for him who had a 1948 Ford pick up truck. I’d love to have one of those.

Hehehe... "Ass of 21!"
Nobody has mentioned GTO Judge yet?
If money grew on trees I'd have a 1970 Plymouth Superbird.
