Harbaugh

Back to reality for Michigan next year

most of the OL is gone and Hutchinson/Ojabo are gone (their whole monster pass rush this year)

This year was pretty much the perfect storm for him to finally "break through". I'll put the chances of them recreating this next year at <10%. The main core was a mesh of super seniors and guys who took 3+ years to finally produce. Maybe again in 4/5 years.
I have seen multiple OSU fans claim this....but it's factually wrong.

Ojabo could absolutely return. He's a Jr. and I think he might even have two years of eligibility left with the Covid year in play. The only two seniors on our offensive line are Vastardis and Hayes, and Hayes has another year of eligibility. The only other seniors in our starting lineup are TE Luke Schoonmaker (who has another year of eligibility), Josh Ross LB, Haskins, Hutchinson, Hawkins (S) and Vince Gray (CB). And I think a few of those might also have a covid year left if they want it.

There's a possibility this team gets even better next year given what we've seen out of Donovan Edwards, Corum, our QB's and our WR's; all of which return.

I'd be surprised if Ojabo returned, since he is rocketing up to probably a 1st round pick. Replacing him and Hutchinson is going to be near impossible

The QBs and WRs really aren't scaring anyone. We will see if they can repeat the same success relying heavily on the run.

You forgot Stueber on the oline. He is gone (already announced participating in the Senior bowl). He was also 1st team all B1G

Given how much we rotated in OL throughout the year, I just don't think it's going to be an issue. Once you get something like this going on offense, it finally clicked, and you have a huge core group of players returning I just don't see it going backwards. A lot of the production in the Iowa game came from guys that are all coming back.

You know what team does lose a lot of skill talent next year? That would be your own OSU buckeyes and the like 10 NFL WR draft picks you have; basically the only reason you got any yards in the game against us. Weird acrobatic catches behind the back and shit.

Smith-Njigba is back :dhd:

Olave and Wilson are gone but theres gotta be a couple of the lineup of elite recruits behind them that will step in and do well.

I’ve disliked this weirdo since he was hired. That said, it was amazing to see the palpable joy when he won. Anyone who has ever done anything great knows that you get beat up along the way. Life has more downs than ups for most of us. I have tremendous respect for what he did this year, and it’s great to see the joy that is in him.

Looks like we will get them in the semis and I hope we beat their brains in, but I’ve gained a lot of respect for him. He’s done a great job this year!
Perspective. If you really think about it, every second of the day is a miracle and blessing (and if you're not religious it's still incredible and crazy to think about) Of course you can't live life that way, it would drive you nuts, so you end up looking at the bigger pictures and as is life it's full of stressors and some negative moments. But really, at the end of the day, end of the week, end of the month and at the end of the year all of life is an up.

Sure, and Mel Tucker's going to LSU.
His meme said how it started vs how it ended. One was from the start of his Michigan coaching

Urban got caught off guard by Purdue. OSU and Day self proclaim to prepare all year for Michigan. They got their ass handed to them and then spent the next couple weeks making piss poor excuses and I'm loving it
Wait are you saying they are doing the same thing ichigan players and coaches have done for a decade?

Urban got beat, its that simple. He was out coached.

I said Harbaugh is 1-1 vs Day. This is a fact, you don't like facts?

The irony of you saying I don't like facts. Of course JH is 1-1 vs. Day. But you're choosing to ignore JH's real record vs. Ohio State. You wanna pretend JH's losses to Ohio State before Day somehow don't count.

What you're trying to do right now is no different than what you did on that other site saying repeatedly his losses to ranked teams somehow don't count towards his career coaching resume.

You're the ultimate homer. Thought after all these years you had embraced it.

This is a true worst-case scenario for Ohio State fans.

No it's not. UofM was the more experienced, better and hungrier team this season.

But your hatred of all things Ohio State is known by everyone and it now spans two sites.

Read again. It says "How it started" and then "How it's going"

I wonder if he'd excuse his coach enabling a serial killer?

I've been telling you now on two site I was never an Urban Meyer fan. I'm an Ohio State fan. Maybe you'll pay attention. But I doubt it.

I specifically meant all the respect that Harbaugh is getting. Respect that Urban Meyer will never get as long as he lives.

Other than you who cares about Meyer anymore? You seem to be obsessed with him. You've incorrectly convinced yourself that every single Ohio State fan somehow supported him.

And your nonstop insistence that he's directly responsible for the monster AH turned into makes as much sense as blaming Tom Osborne for Lawrence Phillips.
