Harbaugh

Other than you who cares about Meyer anymore? You seem to be obsessed with him. You've incorrectly convinced yourself that every single Ohio State fan somehow supported him.

And your nonstop insistence that he's directly responsible for the monster AH turned into makes as much sense as blaming Tom Osborne for Lawrence Phillips.
Comparing those two situations, I honestly don't know whether you're criminally insane or criminally ignorant. :L

You're such a clown. You've been obsessed with Meyer on two different sites for years now. Don't you think it's time to move on? Nobody cares about him except you. Says a lot about you that you still are infatuated with him.

I’ve disliked this weirdo since he was hired. That said, it was amazing to see the palpable joy when he won. Anyone who has ever done anything great knows that you get beat up along the way. Life has more downs than ups for most of us. I have tremendous respect for what he did this year, and it’s great to see the joy that is in him.

Looks like we will get them in the semis and I hope we beat their brains in, but I’ve gained a lot of respect for him. He’s done a great job this year!

I'll give credit where its due. Harbaugh, i think, is 100% a genuine weirdo but also 100% a Michigan man. There is no other coach in the world that school could have hired that would pour the same energy and desire into that job that he does.

For the past few years, he's been on the hotseat and I thought for certain he would be given his walking papers after 2019. Maybe the pandemic shortened season last year helped save his job, maybe not. Either way, credit to Michigan for sticking by their guy.

Smith-Njigba is back :dhd:

Olave and Wilson are gone but theres gotta be a couple of the lineup of elite recruits behind them that will step in and do well.

The talent on the offensive side of the ball is outrageous.

The irony of you saying I don't like facts. Of course JH is 1-1 vs. Day. But you're choosing to ignore JH's real record vs. Ohio State. You wanna pretend JH's losses to Ohio State before Day somehow don't count.

What you're trying to do right now is no different than what you did on that other site saying repeatedly his losses to ranked teams somehow don't count towards his career coaching resume.

You're the ultimate homer. Thought after all these years you had embraced it.
His REAL record vs. Ryan Day is 1-1.

I'd be surprised if Ojabo returned, since he is rocketing up to probably a 1st round pick. Replacing him and Hutchinson is going to be near impossible

The QBs and WRs really aren't scaring anyone. We will see if they can repeat the same success relying heavily on the run.

You forgot Stueber on the oline. He is gone (already announced participating in the Senior bowl). He was also 1st team all B1G
Ojabo is sprinting to the NFL. He has only played football for 5 years TOTAL. He was a soccer player. My man is going to sprint to sign a 1st round contract in the NFL.

As a Michigan fan, I cringe when I listen to Harbaugh at times, but the guy bleeds Maize and Blue. He grew up as a kid in Ann Arbor around the Michigan program (Dad was a coach), he went to college in Ann Arbor at UM as a player, he is now raising his kids in Ann Arbor as the HC. How many coaches would take a pay cut to such an extent as Harbaugh, laced with incentives, then turn around and give all the incentives earned back to the Athletic department employees who were forced to take a pay cut during the pandemic. I think it is 1.5 million he has donated back thus far to the employees, he can earn up to 3.5 million and pledged to donate any of his bonuses to the athletic dept employees. So while he is definitely eclectic, he is loved by those around him and play for him, and instances like this are why.

Yep exactly my thinking. Him coming back would be extremely shocking.

Dax Hill is another guy who may likely spring to the draft as well. He has the athletic ability to break into the 1st round and he actually played up to it this year. Not sure another year does him any good. He would be a big loss as well.

His REAL record vs. Ryan Day is 1-1.

True. But what's his real record vs. Ohio State? This rivalry isn't UofM vs. Ryan Day. It's Ohio State vs. UofM.

You've bragged plenty in the past, back on that other site, that UofM still has the W/L advantage in the rivalry. So you'll acknowledge that. But you won't acknowledge JH's real record vs. his bitter rival. Just priceless.

Next year will be Harbaugh's biggest test. Now that he "did it" he has to keep it going. This year becomes far less meaningful (unless they win the NC) if they slide right back to like 3 losses with a loss to Ohio State

He also went to HS in Palo Alto while his dad was an assistant at Stanford. Didn't know that. Thought he went to HS all 4 years in ann arbor.

He's already talking to the conference about having UofM's game on 11/26 next year cancelled.

Fickell should easily be CotY.

Dax Hill is going to be gone too. I thought we'd be done for on defense this year when we lost Kwity Paye and Cameron McGrone from last year's defense. Whatever UM is doing with their edge rushers -- they seem to be doing it right, as we've had Josh Uche, Kwity Paye, David Ojabo, Hutchinson and none of those guys were big time 5 star recruits. Josh Uche was 707th ranked, Kwity Paye was 486th ranked,
David Ojabo was 314th ranked out of high school. Aiden Hutchinson was the highest ranked edge rusher we've had at 112th out of HS.

So UM is doing something right in developing their talent on the edge, as Paye was a 1st round pick, Uche was a 2nd round pick, Ojabo and Hutch will be 1st round picks.

So i think UM will be alright with whoever they get to replace those players -- they always seem to come up with someone on the edges. Dax Hill though has been the QB of the defense since his freshman year, so losing him will suck.

Uche and Paye were 1st/2nd round picks but they werent quite the beasts at Michigan Hutchinson and Ojabo were this year production wise.

Agree -- we were playing a different defensive system. This is Mike McDonald's first year at UM, where we play multiple fronts instead of the predictablility of Don Brown's system.

I feel a lot better about the interior DL than I have in a while, and they should have Smith and Hinton back. Easily the best interior DL play we've gotten since Hurst. I think the EDGES will be fine next year, I like McGregor a lot.

Losing Hill is gonna suck, but at least the corners looked a lot better than expected. Has Hawkins made any indication on whether he's going to return or go to the pros?

I think Hawkins is gone too. I think he may have been a graduate returnee? Not positive on that though.

Pretty sure this year was Hawkins COVID year. So he is gone, no eligibility remaining.
