This. I can handle the backstraps...maybe some chili, but it's not my preferred meat.

Now Elk? That's an entirely different discussion. That may be the best meat there is. Elk graze, deer eat fucking anything.

Elk, moose...yeah, they are superior. However, the deer in my area of Illinois are corn fed delicacies. That pine needle version in the northern states is sub par.
