Well.... Frost had 2 years of HC experience. One year was a losing season and the other year was an undefeated season. Not enough to go on.

Fuente had 4 years and did show growth with Memphis and even while at Va Tech he has been bowl eligible every year except last year (still has a fair chance of becoming bowl eligible this year with a horrible ACC).

Tom Herman may not have taken Texas where they wanted him to in the short time they had him, but he has never had a losing record in his head coaching career.

Out of those 3, Frost is far and away the worst.

Nothing is sure fire, but we need about as proven as one can reasonably get. I'm not against offering Saban an insane deal lol.
