They prefer to be called "high schoolers" you uncouth scum!
Nah, the staffing of the stores around here makes me think life is a simulation.

Trashy robot chain - staffed almost entirely by overweight middle aged women

Middle tier chain - staffed almost entirely by balding middle aged men

The goat store - staffed almost entirely by high school boys and tatted up big titty goth chicks.

I'm not gonna lie, and I'm not being a sarcastic smartass here for once...but I prefer to go to grocery stores that have special needs kids working at them. It means that store has hiring and training staff that actually care about the neighborhood, because those special needs kids usually aren't driving or commuting from very far. And they are always in a good mood, work hard, and say hello.

Yea, same.

That’s the goat chain. They hire special needs kids to bag, even those to a level where they have a para with them.

Cleanest store, freshest produce, tatted up big titty goth chick cashiers and a special needs kid giving it his all bagging my groceries? Warms the cockles of your heart.

Most people eat squid as happy hour fried calamari, so its not as bizarre a food as some might think. I like it stir fried with black bean sauce.
Nope, not the squid part. The "fresh squid" part. Unless there is some sort of freshwater lake squid, ain't nothing "fresh" around here. Went to a work dinner once with a vendor who was a total pretentious douche, wanted to look fancy for us or something, and asked a waiter at the restaraunt in grapevine fucking Texas "if the scallops are fresh or have they been frozen". Douche has also lived in north texas his entire life and asked that dumbshit question. I loved the waiters response..."sir we are in grapevine texas, all seafood was flown in on a plane at DFW. Yes it has all been frozen at some point"

My local Kroger had a tranny working the self checkout. Does that count ?

I've lived near the Pacific most of my life. Freshest squid I had I took live off the fishing boat, and we were using them as bait. They're a complete pain to clean.

What's the best, most sought after snack food that is probably flying under all of our radars? I tried the Girl Scout thinmint cookie balls last weekend. Yeah, that bag lasted all of about 24 hours in my house. Kid and wife destroyed it.
We have a holiday mix at Christmas that bombdigity. We also got in a pistachio chocolate that people bought cases of. Dubai chocolate.

For everyday keep in cupboard and snack, for me, is Hoodies Snack mix.

Wife being a teacher, I get one of our all chocolate bags, same as the ones we mass out for on Halloween, every few months. She uses them as give away treats.

Under radar right now is Black Thunder and a sour candy I can't think of name.

Costco did a good job replacing the Ore Ida crispy fries with their Kirkland lnockoffs. They are pretty good.
So it was you!

We yanked them. Not sure reason.

I liked them too. Cook them in beef tallow for a kids treat.

Ours is Nick. He pushes carts and is the nicest kid. He has learned tons as has tons of responsibilities that he takes more serious than most. Love that kid.

I find the closest Publix.

Can we all agree that Publix fucking sucks?

Florida goat state but man their grocery stores are trash. They like they got TJs
Yeah but Winn Dixie has a stench. All of them do.
