In shower, Gillette Mach 5, Dove soap
Tried a number of electric shavers but nothing works for me like shaving cream and a good razor.
High dollar razor, after a hot shower, no shaving cream. 2 times a week
When I was twelve I had a small stubble growth on my chin and my Mom bought me one of those Barbasol heated shaving cream dispensers to use. I cannot find them anywhere now and the ones that are out there are either dime store quality or $150 bucks! Fuck that.

Gillette foam with a razor in the shower.
Last thing I do since the hot water softens up the whiskers.
I can open slide the shower door open a bit and turn the sink mirror to see what I'm doing.

Gillette proglide or gtfo
I had really bad acne when I first started shaving and running a blade across that didn’t seem like a great idea. Started with an electric and have never changed.

My wife and her friend pay for the laser. My wife is 3/4 Italian and it just won't work for her. Like literally does nothing so she has to do razor-in-shower. Her ethnic friend (half black/white) loves it and swears it makes it like nothing ever grew there.
I think she has to go a couple of rounds per year.

Is your wife blonde and light skinned? I think lasering works best on people that have heavier contrast... light skin and dark hair. Something about what colors the lasers pick up better. I never shave my face. I trim my beard every couple weeks.
Don’t know the number of guard, but it’s 4.5 mm.

Got a hot shave with a straight razor once from my barber.
Damn good shave but something about someone holding a razor to my throat gets me nervous.
