We've been fairly covid free, here on Vancouver Island. I think there's only 15 known cases right now. One of my wife's co-workers died from it, but she was working and living on the BC mainland. So yeah, pretty much nobody, so far.
I only wear a mask when I'm around your mom; not for the virus, but for the stink.

Two have been hospitalized. One a 19 year old girl with bad asthma and some other respiratory shit. Thought she was a goner tbh.
The other a 40 year old roider in real good health. 41 days in the hospital for him. Touch and go for awhile.
Had a cousin, she's 22, who couldn't get a negative test for over a month but never felt sick enough where she would've normally skipped work. She obviously didn't work during that span. I dropped off food a few times and talked thru her living room window.
Not counting myself in this as I wasn't diagnosed. But I'm fairly certain I had it in January.

WTF? I've talked about it on SH for like 6 months now. My entire kids' school had it. Most of the parents had it. Friends in Miami and Ft Laud had it in January as well.
Has the MSM made this into some mythical killer for you weirdos or what? It's the flu and it's already raced through populous and touristy areas.
Before the shutdown, COVID raced through S FL. Everyone I spoke to in the Keys about it had it in December. Sanibel had it in January. Those who went to the MD all would test negative for A and B flu, just like my daughter. This has mostly been politics. The 200k figure is grossly exaggerated, even though many old folks died before we knew what it was and how tough a chest infection it could cause.

Yeah I think there is a good chance my wife and I had it at the beginning of March. I got a cold mid February and then my wife flew to DC. After she got back she had a cold, which we figured at the time she got from me. A week later I had a second cold, which was a bit worse and had more of the symptoms. I figure that IF we had it that she picked it up on her trip and gave it to me. I rarely get sick and managed to get two colds in three weeks.
