Inspectors are dicks. I had one put in his report I needed to remove a tree in my yard like he was a horticulturalist.

I absolutely refused to do that because the tree was in distress but making a comeback. My tree guy said it was fine a couple months earlier.

My houses are kept in amazing shape as is my yard. I don't redneck engineer umbrella stands either or glue fucking coins to a countertop and think I'm super cool.

I think you can by kits now that just put your fans on wifi, so you can just control them all from your phone. That would get rid of the remote problem, plus you can even screw with people when you aren't home. They look really easy to hook up too.
