lol, like I give a shit about an asterisk. I love that we live in the world where the NCAA only has power we give them, and I choose to give them 0 power. If we win on Monday, which is still in question mind you, I'll celebrate the shit out of this for a lifetime. My response to anyone who doesn't? Die mad. Of course, if we lose -- national championships mean nothing, they're mythical and I didn't want one anyway.

But also...every single team we beat prior to the "scandal" we would have beat either way. Every team we beat after, which was our toughest part of the schedule, was well aware.

The mastermind wasn’t even on our staff for these games and our head coach was suspended for half of them. More than enough compensation for any “cheating” accusation. Hell. We didn’t even pass against Penn state in the second half.

Some teams do it better than others.
A lot of fans don't like that.

If Michigan was doing it, evryone is doing it......just not as good obviously.

Every team that ever won an NC cheated, bent the rules, blah blah blah for years to get there.

So you are saying cheating for the last 3 years did not help MI at all, nothing with recruiting or anything else?

UM put nothing to bed. They just showed that Harbs can build a good team after years of cheating. He couldnt do that before the cheating as the record books show.

How can you say they were better and better coached when you know they were cheating? Prove they would have won without the cheating.

Michigan proved we could beat Ohio State, not just without cheating, but without a head coach. Last year, we proved we could beat Ohio State without our All-American RB and without the B1G Defensive Lineman of the year. 2 years ago, we proved if you punch Ohio State in the mouth, they go into the fetal position.

So we've proved alot. :shrug:

It is humorous to see how far the OSU fan base has fallen. Keep that chin up -- you guys have a shot next year.

They can hate it all they want but they are probably the ones that still want it decided by a vote instead of having it decided on the field of play.

Reminds me of a story Don Haskins told after his annual September trip to visit with his old coach Hank Iba.

Said when he got there the first thing Iba asked him was “Don, are you practicing yet?” He said he knew right then he was screwed. If he answered yes Iba would have said “You shouldn’t be doing that Don, it’s against the rules.” If he answered no, Iba would have said, “You idiot you should be. Everyone else is.”
