I'm gonna die

Consider for the most part, symptoms and treatment is the same as other respiratory viral diseases (cold, flu, etc.). If you’re an unhealthy fat load, then you knew you were more susceptible to begin with. It honestly shouldn’t be a surprise for immunosuppressed people that they get sick more often or have more severe outcomes. But hey, it’s not called hysteria for nothing…
We have landed at the fact that if I get sick I take it easy. If I get bad we go in. They will test me there and treat.

Too many Covid positive folks going to the hospital instead of isolating at home.

And you didn't run here to create a thread stating you were going to die from something someone had tested positive for?!?!?!

Maybe you should read the rest of the post. Ya know, the part about losing my smell and taste for a month.

You can lose your taste and smell from other viruses too. It's not only caused by Covid.

I had it in early July. Had to get tested so I would get paid without losing any vacation time at work. Knew what it was before I got tested though. Had I felt the same in 2019, I wouldn't have missed a day of work.

IF ya gotta go... Go out like a CHAMP!!

btw... whatevah it is, hope you're feeling better soon. Sux to be sick no matter what it is!
Nah, I'm good. Daughter not so hot but the failure to put on the baby shower is freaking the females out.

I'm just tired, boss...

Jesus. Ok dude, whatever you say. You're probably right, I probably got the rarest shit in the world, right in the middle of a pandemic wherein 80% of those infected lose their taste and smell, but you're probably right, it was probably temporary Anosmia or early signs of Alzheimers. :rolleyes2:

Not really sure why you're being so weird about this?

I had it. Never got tested. Never got sick either.

I know I had it tho, as I lost my smell and taste for 2.5 weeks, followed by another 2 weeks of everything smelling and tasting like stewed cabbage.

No need to get tested. I just quarantined.

In most mild cases, I see no reason to get tested. You should just stay home, just like when you have the flu or a cold. Do you rush out to get tested for the Flu?
The word "lemmings" comes to mind... :rolleyes2:
