I’m not relying on transitive. I’m not saying we are better than the elite 4 because of transitive. I’m saying your claim that they are better than the others is bunk because they got beat SIX times. YOUR claim is bunk from the start. No transitive needed. On field results make your claim bunk from the start.

No one else appears to be understanding what you are saying them. You are using transititve results to somehow build up your schedule. If the teams we played which everyone says suck beat other good teams we didn't play, our schedule isn't really soft as Charmin and we would have beat those other teams.

THAT'S TRANSITIVE and a LOSER'S ARGUMENT.

YOUR claim…. YOUR claim… YOUR CLAIM is that one set of teams is so much better than the other that it means Texas’ schedule is weak.

So, let’s look at the ON FIELD results of that claim.

It looks like the WEAK teams beat the STRONG teams not once, not twice, but SIX TIMES so far.

That means your initial claim is bunk.

What are you finding hard to understand?

Metrics like the fpi and Sagarin are predictive. They aren't resume based. If you were to ask me who I think would win on a neutral field between Ole Miss and a team like IU, I'd take Ole Miss. If you asked me who was more deserving I'd take IU because they have a better resume. If you're looking for strictly results based metrics Colley and SoR are the best out there IMO. And like I said before no singular metric is perfect. The more data points the better.

I don’t think they are much worse than the others. You know why? Because they beat the others SIX TIMES so far. Understand? I have to go by in field results. Once? Maybe. Twice? Maybe. SIX TIMES? No.
It means that set of teams is much closer than the other set than you’re trying to promote.

Second of all, we played Vandy. And they own us head to head.

Even in a predictive model it’s laughable to have Bama and Ole Miss so high IMO it’s been proven they can lose to anyone and aren’t even close to a gimme to win any game.
