In Case You Forgot

I didn’t think I would see a ND talking about beating up on a shitty schedule today, but here we are. Texas 36th SOS and ND 78th according to ESPN

According to Sagarin it's 39 and 65th respectively. And you won't see me argue ND has played a good schedule.

You also won't see me pimp wins against GT and Louisville as anything like @ELTEXAN is trying to do with Vandy, UK and all the other shit SEC teams that have beaten the top of the league.

Did MnB hack your account?

I can’t tell if you’re trolling or actually believe this nonsense

We have reached true post irony
Trolling went out in 1998.
Four “better” teams we “avoided” lost to the “weaker” teams we beat… SIX TIMES.

If you can’t see how those FACTS destroy your “you played such a weak schedule” argument, I can’t help you.

SIX!!! TIMES!!!

It’s not terrible when it’s six times. The fact you still don’t understand is laughable.

“These teams are much better than those teams”
— Well, what happened when these played those?
“Well, those beat these teams SIX times… but doesn’t mean nuthin!”

Laughable
Your schedule and relying on the transitive property is what is laughable. Even your own fans are jumping in to defend you. Your best argument is, fuck you, we played the schedule we had in front of us, we are ranked 3rd, see you bitches in Atlanta if we beat little brother.

Are sagarins SOS rankings based off his shitty normal rankings that still have Ole Miss and Bama 5th and 7th? If so GTFO with them

Please, for the love of God, stop. This is embarrassing, even for you

@ericd7633 i know you love these metrics systems I’m just honestly asking how you can defend them still having Bama & Ole Miss still in the top 5 or just outside.

I’m not relying on transitive. I’m not saying we are better than the elite 4 because of transitive. I’m saying your claim that they are better than the others is bunk because they got beat SIX times. YOUR claim is bunk from the start. No transitive needed. On field results make your claim bunk from the start.

SIX TIMES. WHAT ARENT YOU UNDERSTANDING?

Your claim is THIS set of teams (that Texas avoided) is MUCH BETTER than THAT set of teams Texas did play.

What happened on the field?
THAT teams beat THIS teams SIX TIMES so far. There may be more coming.

Your claim is bunk from the beginning.

What can’t you see about that?

Ok, you win. You all suck.

Texas hasn't played either so it doesn't matter.

No one else appears to be understanding what you are saying them. You are using transititve results to somehow build up your schedule. If the teams we played which everyone says suck beat other good teams we didn't play, our schedule isn't really soft as Charmin and we would have beat those other teams.

THAT'S TRANSITIVE and a LOSER'S ARGUMENT.

YOUR claim…. YOUR claim… YOUR CLAIM is that one set of teams is so much better than the other that it means Texas’ schedule is weak.

So, let’s look at the ON FIELD results of that claim.

It looks like the WEAK teams beat the STRONG teams not once, not twice, but SIX TIMES so far.

That means your initial claim is bunk.

What are you finding hard to understand?

@ericd7633 i know you love these metrics systems I’m just honestly asking how you can defend them still having Bama & Ole Miss still in the top 5 or just outside.

Metrics like the fpi and Sagarin are predictive. They aren't resume based. If you were to ask me who I think would win on a neutral field between Ole Miss and a team like IU, I'd take Ole Miss. If you asked me who was more deserving I'd take IU because they have a better resume. If you're looking for strictly results based metrics Colley and SoR are the best out there IMO. And like I said before no singular metric is perfect. The more data points the better.

Yes or no. Do you think UK, Arkansas, OU, Florida and Vandy are good teams?

I don’t think they are much worse than the others. You know why? Because they beat the others SIX TIMES so far. Understand? I have to go by in field results. Once? Maybe. Twice? Maybe. SIX TIMES? No.
It means that set of teams is much closer than the other set than you’re trying to promote.

Second of all, we played Vandy. And they own us head to head.

Since you couldn't simply say yes or no, I'll take that as a no.

Even in a predictive model it’s laughable to have Bama and Ole Miss so high IMO it’s been proven they can lose to anyone and aren’t even close to a gimme to win any game.
