GAME Indiana at ND (7 pm CST Friday December 20th) ABC

I like that UGA essentially gets two byes this year

Notre Dame is worthy to get a bye week, but they need to join a conference. What a great game to start the playoffs. A legendary football school vs. an upstart football team known for it's basketball!!!

If you win The Battle for Indiana, what have you really won?

ND matches up pretty well with UGA. This isn't 2021-2023 UGA. Not saying ND will win, but if you can get blown out against Ole Miss, lose to Bama and struggle with GT, all the while having to play your backup QB, that's definitely not getting 2 byes.

With all that said, we could lose to IU too.

UGA just doesn’t lose to ND. Never has, never will

I was going to argue against ND being worthy of a bye but at this point the bracket is already made and I’m tired of picking apart resumes. Can’t wait to see some playoff football. ND has a fantastic defense. I can see them going on a run!
I thought ND will not get a bye in any way under this format because the are not in a conference.

It is wild -- UGA is the 2 seed, yet they got, BY FAR, the easiest path the title game.

Oregon is the #1 seed and they have the toughest, outside of the Tenn/Ohio winner.

People are sleeping on nd/psu.

They are in a conference when its convenient (ACC) independent when its not

fuck ND

On the one hand, usc getting relevant again would add more losses to nd.

On the other hand, fuck usc
