Ohio State fans for the most part were always "meh" on Barrett.

He put up some big stats but we all knew he wasnt the greatest.
People called Barrett at good QB, that makes him incredibly overrated

He was by far the worst player on the team at any given moment he was with OSU
LOL taking it too far. He was just another dual-threat guy but didn't have great speed to fail in the NFL. His stats put him in the record books at Ohio St but he was far from being top QB of all-time in college and really wasn't a top 5 QB on Ohio St all-time. He had longevity...but everyone knew he would not work in the pros.

You know there’s a guy named Tebow who played a while back, right?
He ran three yards and crashed into linebackers, and got all the glory deserved by his immensely talented teammates.

He is in the discusssion of greatest CFB QB of all-time. I would say 10K yards passing 88 TD's 16 INT's with 67% is more than running 3 yards.

If you think Tebow is overrated go watch the 4th Quarter of the 08 SEC title game. Dude took over and single handily beat Alabama IMO

You can be great and still be overrated. Most great players are a tad bit overrated. Tebow was great, he also had an offense loaded with NFL talent surrounding him. He's not the most overrated of all time, not even close. JT Barrett also had an NFL offense around him, but he still sucked.

Yeah, college FB and the NFL are two completely different games. Tebow was a terrific CFB player that was exposed when he had to play against the men. Think of it this way, a young college player is basically playing in an all star game that means something every Sunday when he reaches the NFL.. He will face the best (former) college players in the nation on every down, every week. Not many players, no matter how great they were in college are considered locks to be great in the big leagues and only those that were and failed should be considered overrated or busts.
