He didn't play us this season (22), he played us last season (21), and his first starting season was the year before (20).
And when he played us, we beat him. He played a terrible game. Though I just realized Bryce Young was a three year starter at Bama that never beat A&M.

A Big 12 source has noted the holdup on the release of the 2023 schedule has nothing to do with the schedule itself, but instead has to do with continued Oklahoma and Texas negotiations over leaving early.

He visited ASU last weekend and it sounds like he will be at TCU this weekend.
Washington, California and Colorado are also pushing to get him to visit.

Actually "by this summer" would be the most logical way economically since it would be 2 years early. The GOR penalty says 2X for leaving early regardless of when.
Even if they leave in 2024 they'd owe 2X media rights revenue for just one year.
It's not gonna happen though because the SEC has already released it's 2023 schedules.
