Update on the psycho. 72 hours in and they still haven't served him with the HRO yet and only made one attempt to serve him.
Called the officer back that I first reported the complaint to and the officer said "So, do you want to press charges?"
YES, ASSHOLE, I WANT ***YOU*** TO PRESS CHARGES. IF NOT, I WOULDN'T HAVE CALLED YOU IN THE FIRST PLACE. ALSO, I'M THE GODDAMN VICTIM AND I DON'T MAKE THE DECISION ON PRESSING CHARGES....YOU DO. DO YOUR FUCKING JOB. Anyone who knows anything about the law knows the victim doesn't decide if charges get pressed against someone. You, as the officer, make the decision if a crime was committed and if so, refer the case to the prosecutor. So me responding with "Yeah, I want him to be charged if there's enough evidence that he committed a crime" and you immediately stating "There's enough here to press charges" leads me to believe you just aren't doing your job.
