It's Friday, you ain't got no job, and you ain't got shit to do...

He eats more on Sundays than I probably eat in a week. I mean, obviously our workout routines aren't comparable, but still. They are insane cheat days.

Im a big believer in cheat days for long term success sticking w a diet. I’m always rejuvenated on Mondays, and they allow me to eat clean at least 5 times a week knowing I have my cheat days to look forward to.

It helps that I enjoy eating clean too though. Some people hate it and force feed themselves clean food. Usually not a problem for me.

Yep. I have to send for it to get it because I can't find it in the stores around here. So I usually get a couple of bags at a time.

Every day is a cheat day for me. I eat anything I want.
I used to but started to look like i was in my third trimester, it took me too long to realize I couldn't eat bacon cheeseburgers, pizza, and fried chicken daily along with case of beer a week

I'm down to my 2nd trimester and hopefully getting back to normal

it takes a bit more cooking skill to turn lean protein and veggies into a good meal, it can be done

it's really easy to bread, deep fry, slather in sauce and make taste good

I don't eat as healthy as I should, but I have done better job with moderation.

Moderation is my diet. I eat whatever I want, but I eat about half of what I probably could eat at any given time.

The orange chicken I made last night was awesome. I don't deep fry often at home, but I did take the time to bread the chicken and fry it last night.

The key is finding a healthy diet you can stick to without feeling like you’re being deprived. I don’t deny myself anything in the sense of if I want pizza or burgers or ice cream, I’ll eat it. But I understand that I have to account for that in my overall plan and you can’t do it every day. No amount of cardio will negate a poor diet, particularly as you get older.

I am not a big bread and starches eater and even that is lowered during the winter. It is so hard finding decent "fresh" produce this time of year, though. I tend to eat a lot of one-course meals. A burger patty or salmon steak and nothing else.

Grilling?
Is there another way? I am going to salt them tonight, and leave open to dsry a little in the fridge for 24 hours. Leave them out to get to room temp for a an hour or 2, then grill to perfection on a hot ass grill, with fresh ground pepper, and butter the tops every time I flip the,, which is twice per side, for grill marks, bud.

I only eat ice cream in the summertime, and I have my kids now doing the same. They don’t even ask for it anymore. Pizza is a cheat night meal because of all the bread.

My go-to treat if I really need it is cool whip w fruit. Blue berries, strawberries, apples, bananas, sometimes all at once. Little cool whip mixed in its awesome.

Milk isn’t my friend, so I don’t do ice cream much. I don’t really do dessert at all other than occasionally on the weekends. I really try to stay “on plan” during the week and I’m a little more relaxed about it on the weekends. I still try to be reasonably good even on the weekends, but I’m much less strict about it.

At least at our house, we also almost always cook at home. Maybe 1-2 meals out a week. Often none. Anything cooked at home is likely to have way less butter/fat than something cooked in a restaurant.

Can you get some sort of veggie delivery service? I use one and love it. Uses up veggies that otherwise can't be sold in a grocery store and opens up my mind to veggies I might not otherwise utilize. Like tonight I'm making Salisbury steaks but am using a celery root mash instead of mashed potatoes. I've really enjoyed getting these other veggies I've never used before.

Morning. I could have slept another hour, but oh well. Dog walk soon. It's beautiful out right now.
